Archive Your SMS With GSync

Do you keep your old SMS messages? I do but they take too much space on my phone. A few days ago I received an email from a company called Psiloc. They were announcing a new application that does exactly what I need. It’s called GSync and it archives all the SMS messages on my GMail account.

Psiloc GSync allows you to automatically archive all your SMS messages on the Gmailâ„¢ account. The SMS messages appear as e-mails, are marked as read and labelled as SMS. Messages exchanged with same people are grouped into threads. You can configure how often messages are archived.

Autolock/keypad lock revisited [5]

A while back I remember seeing an article on a 3rd party autolock program, and I remember thinking how odd it was since the E50 is equiped with an autolock function.
It also has a keypad lock function, which is a bit more troublesome to use than on previous Nokia’s I’ve owned. But it’s still there nontheless. To use the keypad lock simply depress the on/off button quickly and a pop up menu will appear, then you can scroll down and select “keypad lock”. Simple, now to unlock just depress the left selection key then the * key to unlock the keypad. However I have noticed a flaw in this function, a bit trivial, seems that the screen doesn’t light up upon depressing a key so that you can tell what you are doing.
